SIGNIFICANCE of 70

Psalm 70:4

King James Version

4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice

and be glad in thee:

and let such as love thy salvation

say continually,

Let God be magnified.

Why is the number "70" significant?

What does it have to do with America?

What does it have to do with Israel?

What does it have to do with the world?

Well, it's 70 more days before Trump sits in office.

That's 70 more days Israel has to wait, and endure.

And 70 days we need to pray for America, Israel, and the world.

A lot can happen in those precious 70 days.

In "Keys to Scripture Numerics", "70" refers to:

"UNIVERSALITY...

ISRAEL AND HER RESTORATION"

The number "70" has great significance.

As you shall see from the WORD of GOD.

These verses certainly worthy of meditation:

mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Numbers 11:16

King James Version

16 And the Lord said unto Moses,

and officers over them;

and bring them unto the tabernacle

of the congregation,

that they may stand there with thee.

Numbers 11:25

King James Version

25 And the Lord came down in a cloud,

and spake unto him,

they prophesied,

and did not cease.

56 Thus God rendered

the wickedness of Abimelech,

And Jehu wrote letters,

and sent to Samaria,

unto the rulers of Jezreel,

and to them that brought up

Ahab's children, saying,

2 Now as soon as this letter cometh to you,

seeing your master's sons are with you,

and there are with you chariots and horses,

a fenced city also, and armour;

3 Look even out the best and meetest

of your master's sons,

and set him on his father's throne,

and fight for your master's house.

Isaiah 23:17

King James Version

17 And it shall come to pass

after the end of seventy years,

that the Lord will visit Tyre,

and she shall turn to her hire,

and shall commit fornication

with all the kingdoms of the world

upon the face of the earth.

seventy years.

when seventy years are accomplished,

that I will punish the king of Babylon,

and that nation, saith the Lord,

for their iniquity,

and the land of the Chaldeans,

and will make it perpetual desolations.

Jeremiah 29:10

King James Version

10 For thus saith the Lord,

That after seventy years

be accomplished at Babylon

I will visit you,

and perform my good word toward you,

in causing you to return to this place.

Ezekiel 8:11

King James Version

11 And there stood before them seventy men

of the ancients of the house of Israel,

and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah

the son of Shaphan,

with every man his censer in his hand;

and a thick cloud of incense went up.

Ezekiel 41:12

King James Version

12 Now the building

that was before the separate place

at the end toward the west

was seventy cubits broad;

and the wall of the building

was five cubits thick round about,

and the length thereof ninety cubits.

Daniel 9:2

King James Version

2 In the first year of his reign

I Daniel understood by books

the number of the years,

whereof the word of the Lord came

to Jeremiah the prophet,

that he would accomplish seventy years

in the desolations of Jerusalem.

Daniel 9:24

King James Version

24 Seventy weeks are determined

upon thy people

and upon thy holy city,

to finish the transgression,

and to make an end of sins,

and to bring in everlasting righteousness,

and to seal up the vision and prophecy,

and to anoint the most Holy.

NEW TESTAMENT:

Matthew 18:21-22

King James Version

21 Then came Peter to him, and said,

Lord,

how oft shall my brother sin against me,

and I forgive him?

till seven times?

22 Jesus saith unto him,

I say not unto thee,

Until seven times: but,

Until seventy times seven.

Luke 10:1-12

King James Version

10 After these things

the Lord appointed other seventy also,

and sent them two and two before his face

into every city and place,

whither he himself would come.

2 Therefore said he unto them,

The harvest truly is great,

but the labourers are few:

pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest,

that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

3 Go your ways:

behold,

I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes:

and salute no man by the way.

5 And into whatsoever house ye enter,

first say, Peace be to this house.

6 And if the son of peace be there,

your peace shall rest upon it:

if not, it shall turn to you again.

7 And in the same house remain,

eating and drinking such things as they give:

for the labourer is worthy of his hire.

Go not from house to house.

8 And into whatsoever city ye enter,

and they receive you,

eat such things as are set before you:

9 And heal the sick that are therein,

and say unto them,

The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

10 But into whatsoever city ye enter,

and they receive you not,

go your ways out into the streets of the same,

and say,

11 Even the very dust of your city,

which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you:

notwithstanding be ye sure of this,

that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

12 But I say unto you,

that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom,

than for that city.

Luke 10:17

King James Version

17 And the seventy returned again

with joy, saying,

Lord,

even the devils are subject unto us

through thy name.

The number 16

Amos 3:7

King James Version

7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing,

but he revealeth his secret

unto his servants the prophets.

SPIRIT woke me up very early this morning.

We were to share a post we had written last night.

As we were sharing it with the world, we listened to a Missler sermon.

And another curious number combination came up --

 "16:16"

through a verse quoted by Missler:

Revelation 16:16

King James Version

16 And he gathered them together

into a place called in the Hebrew tongue

Armageddon.

That wiped all thoughts of going back to sleep.

SPIRIT made me search Scripture for this new number combination.

So, we searched the Bible for every 16th verse.

From every 16th chapter.

This post practically wrote itself.

Here's what we found:

Genesis 16:16

King James Version

16 And Abram was fourscore and six years old,

when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.

Exodus 16:16

King James Version

16 This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded,

Gather of it every man according to his eating,

an omer for every man,

according to the number of your persons;

take ye every man for them which are in his tents.

Leviticus 16:16

King James Version

16 And he shall make an atonement for the holy place,

because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel,

and because of their transgressions in all their sins:

and so shall he do for the tabernacle

of the congregation, that remaineth among them

in the midst of their uncleanness.

Numbers 16:16

King James Version

16 And Moses said unto Korah,

Be thou and all thy company before the Lord,

thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:

Deuteronomy 16:16

King James Version

16 Three times in a year

shall all thy males appear

before the Lord thy God

in the place which he shall choose;

in the feast of unleavened bread,

and in the feast of weeks,

and in the feast of tabernacles:

and they shall not appear before the Lord empty:

Judges 16:16

King James Version

16 And it came to pass,

when she pressed him daily with her words,

and urged him,

so that his soul was vexed unto death;

1 Samuel 16:16

King James Version

16 Let our lord now command thy servants,

which are before thee,

to seek out a man,

who is a cunning player on an harp:

and it shall come to pass,

when the evil spirit from God is upon thee,

that he shall play with his hand,

and thou shalt be well.

2 Samuel 16:16

King James Version

16 And it came to pass,

when Hushai the Archite, David's friend,

was come unto Absalom,

that Hushai said unto Absalom,

God save the king, God save the king.

1 Kings 16:16

King James Version

16 And the people that were encamped heard say,

Zimri hath conspired,

and hath also slain the king:

wherefore all Israel made Omri,

the captain of the host,

king over Israel that day in the camp.

2 Kings 16:16

King James Version

16 Thus did Urijah the priest,

according to all that king Ahaz commanded.

1 Chronicles 16:16

King James Version

16 Even of the covenant

which he made with Abraham,

and of his oath unto Isaac;

Job 16:16

King James Version

16 My face is foul with weeping,

and on my eyelids is the shadow of death;

Proverbs 16:16

King James Version

16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold!

and to get understanding

rather to be chosen than silver!

Jeremiah 16:16

King James Version

16 Behold,

I will send for many fishers,

saith the Lord,

and they shall fish them;

and after will I send for many hunters,

and they shall hunt them from every mountain,

and from every hill,

and out of the holes of the rocks.

Ezekiel 16:16

King James Version

16 And of thy garments thou didst take,

and deckedst thy high places with divers colours,

and playedst the harlot thereupon:

the like things shall not come,

neither shall it be so.

Matthew 16:16

King James Version

16 And Simon Peter answered and said,

Thou art the Christ,

the Son of the living God.

Mark 16:16

King James Version

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Luke 16:16

King James Version

16 The law and the prophets were until John:

since that time the kingdom of God is preached,

and every man presseth into it.

John 16:16

King James Version

16 A little while, and ye shall not see me:

and again, a little while, and ye shall see me,

because I go to the Father.

Acts 16:16

King James Version

16 And it came to pass,

as we went to prayer,

a certain damsel possessed

with a spirit of divination met us,

which brought her masters much gain

by soothsaying:

Romans 16:16

King James Version

16 Salute one another with an holy kiss.

The churches of Christ salute you.

1 Corinthians 16:16

King James Version

16 That ye submit yourselves unto such,

and to every one that helpeth with us,

and laboureth.

We shall write another post, connecting all those verses.

For now, we will let everything sink in, and have SPIRIT guide us.

As this is a blog on "GOD's numbers", let's have a look at what "Keys to Scripture Numerics" has to say about the number "16".

We learn that it refers to "LOVE":

"This number is found 23 times in the Bible.

There are SIXTEEN times in the Bible

we find JEHOVAH TITLES."

JESUS, Who taught us about love, commands us:

Matthew 22:37-40

King James Version

37 Jesus said unto him,

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God

with all thy heart,

and with all thy soul,

and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it,

Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments

hang all the law and the prophets.

Scripture has much to say about "love".

Also called "charity" in the King James Version.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3

King James Version

13 Though I speak

with the tongues of men and of angels,

and have not charity,

I am become as sounding brass,

or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy,

and understand all mysteries,

and all knowledge;

and though I have all faith,

so that I could remove mountains,

and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor,

and though I give my body to be burned,

and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

As born again, I'm alert to everything SPIRIT teaches me.

I wouldn't want to miss out on a thing.

Especially in these last days.

This post is RICH in clues.

I expect to be writing more articles.

And will share, soon as we do.

The ELEVENTH hour

JESUS commands:

Mark 1:15

King James Version

15 And saying,

The time is fulfilled,

and the kingdom of God is at hand:

repent ye,

and believe the gospel.

Is it really the "eleventh hour"?

You know, what Merriam-Webster calls:

"the latest possible time before it is too late"

I don't know about you, but this much I know.

Every new morning is PURE GRACE from GOD.

The Rapture could happen, any moment GOD chooses.

That's why we keep sharing the gospel with you.

I was supposed to have slept already by 10 p.m.

Thing is, I kept tossing, and turning.

I had already said my prayers, why the restlessness?

Unable to sleep any longer, I decided to check the time.

The phone said 23:11 p.m.

Of course, that's 11:11 p.m.

All thoughts of sleep went out the window.

For I had "filed" in my mind my "CURIOUS 11:11".

An article SPIRIT and I had written on 20 July 2021.

It was time to re-read it.

Not that anything needed changing.

More like, it's more timely than ever.

SPIRIT also had me write yesterday the "11th apostle" chosen by JESUS.

He led me to what happens to Canaanites in the end.

And yet, JESUS chose one to be His apostle.

It just shows GOD sees the heart.

And the heart of that apostle was right.

Because I was unable to sleep anymore, SPIRIT led me to do another thing.

We studied a link, attached to that "curious" article.

A very important link, mind you.

Something I had not looked into yet.

Until now, nearly THREE years after.

"Lesson 10: Focus on the Middle East"

Lo, and behold!

That was EXACTLY the information I needed.

Something we all need to know.

The short version of the history of Israel.

And the plight, and future, of  Jerusalem.

Biblically.

That's why I love SPIRIT, so much!

He gives me EXACTLY the information I need.

At EXACTLY the moment He thinks I should.

In EXACTLY the manner He knows I can tackle.

In these turbulent days, our best Teacher is SPIRIT.

JESUS assured us of that:

John 14:26

King James Version

26 But the Comforter,

which is the Holy Ghost,

whom the Father will send in my name,

he shall teach you all things,

and bring all things to your remembrance,

whatsoever I have said unto you.

To make sense of this world, you need to be born again.

SPIRIT will teach you everything you need to know.

That you may be ready for that 11th hour.

The frogs are still croaking.

The rooster has crowed.

It's 2:33 a.m.

Sleep calls.

The 12 apostles

Matthew 19:28

King James Version

28 And Jesus said unto them,

Verily I say unto you,

That ye which have followed me,

in the regeneration when the Son of man

shall sit in the throne of his glory,

ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones,

judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Who were the LORD's apostles?

Why should you care?

I hope you do, for JESUS chose them.

Here's what Scripture says:

Mark 3:13-19

King James Version

13 And he goeth up into a mountain,

and calleth unto him whom he would:

and they came unto him.

14 And he ordained twelve,

that they should be with him,

and that he might send them forth to preach,

15 And to have power to heal sicknesses,

and to cast out devils:

16 And Simon he surnamed Peter;

17 And James the son of Zebedee,

and John the brother of James;

and he surnamed them Boanerges

which is, The sons of thunder:

18 And Andrew

and Philip

and Bartholomew,

 and Matthew

and Thomas

and James the son of Alphaeus,

and Thaddaeus

and Simon the Canaanite,

19 And Judas Iscariot*,

which also betrayed him:

and they went into an house.

*NOTE

After Judas betrayed JESUS, here's what happened to him.

Matthew 27:3-5

King James Version

3 Then Judas,

which had betrayed him,

when he saw that he was condemned,

repented himself,

and brought again the thirty pieces of silver

to the chief priests and elders,

4 Saying,

I have sinned

in that I have betrayed the innocent blood.

And they said,

What is that to us?

see thou to that.

5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple,

and departed,

and went and hanged himself.

What did the priests and elders do with the 30 pieces of silver?

Matthew 27:6-8

King James Version

6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces,

and said,

It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury,

because it is the price of blood.

7 And they took counsel,

and bought with them the potter's field,

to bury strangers in.

8 Wherefore that field was called,

The field of blood,

unto this day.

The Bible says this fulfilled a prophecy.

Matthew 27:9-10

King James Version

9 Then was fulfilled

that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet,

saying,

And they took the thirty pieces of silver,

the price of him that was valued,

whom they of the children of Israel did value;

10 And gave them for the potter's field,

as the Lord appointed me.

What did the apostles think of Judas, after the betrayal?

This is what Peter declared:

Acts 1:16-20

King James Version

16 Men and brethren,

this scripture must needs have been fulfilled,

which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David

spake before concerning Judas,

which was guide to them that took Jesus.

17 For he was numbered with us,

and had obtained part of this ministry.

18 Now this man purchased a field

with the reward of iniquity;

and falling headlong,

he burst asunder in the midst,

and all his bowels gushed out.

19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem;

insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue,

Aceldama

that is to say,

The field of blood.

20 For it is written in the book of Psalms,

Let his habitation be desolate,

and let no man dwell therein:

and his bishoprick let another take.

Just a few more notes:

In Matthew 27, it says the Judas hanged himself.

In Acts, Peter says Judas fell.

In Matthew 27, it says the chief priests bought the potter's field.

In Acts, Peter implies it was Judas who did so.

But one thing both books agree, is that the potter's field is called the "field of blood".

Having a Berean approach, we shall look into these in the near future.

Who took Judas' place, after he died?

Here's what we found:

Acts 1:22-26

King James Version

22 Beginning from the baptism of John,

unto that same day that he was taken up from us,

must one be ordained to be a witness with us

of his resurrection.

23 And they appointed two,

Joseph called Barsabas,

who was surnamed Justus,

and Matthias.

24 And they prayed, and said,

Thou, Lord,

which knowest the hearts of all men,

shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,

25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship,

from which Judas by transgression fell,

that he might go to his own place.

26 And they gave forth their lots;

and the lot fell upon Matthias

and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
